" I met Currie in the long process of shopping for a barrel horse for one of my students. Hers was the only horse who matched her description in the ad, and was actually priced lower than many of the comparable horses we had seen. Currie not only knew her horse, she was able to help the rider get more out of her in a very short time. I have bought two horses through Currie, have invited her to my ranch to teach clinics, and have trailered down with students for tune-ups. Her teaching style complements mine, but what I like best is the positive frame in which she phrases everything. "I love everything about him. I ride him dressage one day and western on the trail the next. I did take him to Vegas at Christmas time to trail ride the Red Rock Canyon. He trailered quiet, settled into his stall at the dude ranch and ate well--he is a great traveler! We rode all over the desert, got lost a couple times even. He was a cool cat the whole time, even when we ran into some deer! I took him next to Chesbro Canyon, a neat park popular with the mountain bikers. I was riding English and forgot a mounting block so I had to drag him into some landscaping and climb up on some sort of decoration to mount. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend buyers to take a look at your horses. They are exactly what you say they are and they are trained right."
